Blood Sugar Tracker: SugarLog Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Summary
SugarLog stores your diabetes log only on your device. There is no account and the app has no server of its own. The only online service it talks to is RevenueCat, to manage the subscription.
This policy covers the Blood Sugar Tracker: SugarLog app for iPhone and iPad, published by mk0.net, an independent app studio. It is written from what the app actually does in its code. Questions: [email protected].
What we receive
Nothing. We have no accounts or servers for this app, so your entries never reach us.
What stays on your device
- Your readings, doses, meals, medications and other entries are stored on this device.
- Meal photos you attach are stored on this device inside the app.
- Widgets, the Live Activity and the Apple Watch app share your latest reading with the app on your own devices. The Watch receives data directly from your iPhone, not from a server.
- Settings such as units, theme and language are stored on this device.
We cannot see this data. It is not uploaded to us.
Permissions the app may ask for
- Camera: Asked when you scan a food barcode. The barcode is matched only against custom foods you saved yourself, on the device.
- Photos: Asked when you attach a meal photo from your library.
- Face ID: Asked when you turn on the optional app lock.
- Notifications: Asked when you set reminders. All reminders are scheduled on the device.
Every permission is optional and can be changed later in the iPhone Settings app. Features that need a permission you decline simply stay unavailable.
Apple Health
- Reads: Blood Glucose, Insulin Delivery, Carbohydrates, Weight
- Writes: Blood Glucose, Insulin Delivery, Carbohydrates, Weight
Apple Health data is never used for advertising and never leaves your device through this app.
Health data is used only to provide the app's features. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and you can change access at any time in the Health app.
Data that leaves your device
The app talks to the following services. Each receives only what is listed, and only for the purpose shown.
- RevenueCat (subscription management): Only when you view plans, buy, restore or check a subscription: an anonymous app user ID and your App Store purchase status. No health data, entries or names. Their privacy policy.
Sensitive information
Your log contains diabetes-related health data. It is kept only on this device, never uploaded by the app, and you can protect it with the optional Face ID lock.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, card or payment details. The app checks your subscription status through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous ID and your purchase status, not your identity.
Ads, tracking and analytics
No ads, no analytics, no tracking across apps, and we never sell your data.
Account
No account needed.
Children
Blood Sugar Tracker: SugarLog is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Keeping and deleting your data
Use the delete all data option in Settings to erase your log. You can export a backup file first. Deleting the app also removes its local data. Data already written to Apple Health stays in the Health app, where you can delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or KVKK), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Because the app keeps your records on your own device, you can do most of this directly in the app or by deleting it. For anything else, or for data held by a service listed above, email [email protected] and we will help within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date below before the change ships.
